The patented MTS-BUD Buddy Phone® transceiver is an acoustic underwater telephone that is designed to work exclusively with the Mantis full face mask. MTS-BUD uses an ultrasonic, upper single sideband frequency for transmission. The Com-port which is part of the MTS-BUD has a Push-to-talk control and patented All depth Super Mic® included. The Super Mic® was specifically designed for the Sport Diver allowing them to take the mask off at any depth and still not damage the microphone element! The MTS-BUD comes complete and is ready to install onto the Mantis mask.
